Fruit Infused Detox Water

Drinking water alone is one of the best things you can do for your body. It helps regulate body temperature, protect vital organs, and even improve the way you look. By adding different fruits, vegetables, and herbs to your water it can add a lot of health benefits to your lifestyle. There are a ton of different recipes you can make to customize to your liking.

1. Lemon, Mint, and Cucumber

Adding fruit to your water not only makes it taste better but it flushes toxins from your system, fills you up so you don’t eat as much, keeps food moving through your body, improves your mood, and gives you natural energy. I always like to use the VOSS glass water bottles because you can clean and reuse them. I have two small bottles to take with me, and 1 large bottle that I keep in the fridge. Starting from left to right, the first bottle just has cucumber and lemon slices. The larger middle bottle has cucumbers, strawberries, blueberries, and lemon slices. The last small bottle has strawberries, blueberries, lemon, raspberries, and orange slices. If you want your bottle to have a lot of color then you should put in a lot of different types of fruit depending on what you want it to taste like, you can mix and match to make a variety of different fruit infused waters. Personally I don’t drink enough water, especially in the winter. I thought that by infusing my water with fruit it would give me a reason to enjoy it more. On the plus side, it looks pretty and still has zero calories.
